Kindness and Generosity Will Save the Life of Rabbi Dovid Frid and Change the Lives of his Family.
"ALS has paralyzed my husband's body, but it will not break his spirit!"
Eight years ago, Rabbi David Frid was stricken with ALS, a cruel and incurable disease which attacks the nervous system. This debilitating disease has left him completely paralyzed and dependent on life support. Despite his situation, R’ David is fully cognizant, smiling and optimistic. He is an example and beacon of light, never complaining and accepting his lot.
However, the cost of around-the-clock caregivers, equipment, medicines and a myriad of other expenses not included in government insurance as well as the general upkeep of the household are mind boggling. The family cannot bear the burden alone.
As the constant need to raise funds to keep ahead of enormous expenses is draining physically and emotionally, we have created this special campaign.
Watch the video for the powerful blessing of the Tzadik Hagaon HaRav Gamliel Rabinowitz, Shlita: "Donate generously and in this merit you will never be sick, not you and your families for all generations!"
The donation can be made in one sum before the end of the year or in monthly payments. To make a monthly donation, use the recurring payment option.
*For those requiring a tax-deductible receipt, please press the following link for donating through Kupat Hair - קופת העיר. Important: As there is no option for recurring payments on the Kupat Hair link, please write the amount and number of payments in the comments section. They will process accordingly.
Payment by check to Kupat Hair. In order for the donation to be deposited in our fund, please write a note on the check that the contribution is for fund #2605 - Rabbi David Frid. Mail your check to American Friends of Kupat Hair, 4415 14th Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11219.
Please take some time to pray for Dovid Yehoshua ben Leba Malka or do extra Mitzvos on his behalf. Thank you so much.
Please help us to create a "Ripple Effect" by spreading this campaign.
Wishing you good health, happiness and a life full of miracles,
On behalf of Rabbi Dovid and Rochel Frid and family קופת העיר
